Kandace M. Laass

Ms. Laass is Director of Corporate Relations and Graduate Programs at The Washington Campus, responsible for the development and retention of corporate and graduate program clients.

Before coming to The Washington Campus, Ms. Laass was the Director of Member Services of the Washington-based Public Education Network where she oversaw all recruitment and retention of members of this national public education advocacy organization. For the previous 13 years, Ms. Laass assumed several roles at the United States Chamber of Commerce including the Director of Membership Marketing, Director of Quality Learning Services and Director of Television Sales. She has also served several years as a corporate and foundation fundraiser for Washington’s public television affiliate, WETA.

While at Very Special Arts, an organization designed to promote arts opportunities for people with disabilities, Ms. Laass directed the development and marketing for an international conference for over 1,000 participants. She began her career at the Southwest Regional Laboratory for Education Research and Development in Los Angeles and also served as program officer of a private foundation while residing in New York City.

She was educated at State University of New York College at Oswego, studied at the University of Munich and received a Master of Business Administration degree from Johns Hopkins University.
