Jennifer Young joined The Washington Campus team in March ‘07. As Conference Coordinator she works on the planning and implementation of program logistics.

A native of the California Bay Area, Jennifer grew up in San Jose until relocating to the Sacramento area to attend the University of California at Davis where she obtained a B.A. in Communications and a Minor in Psychology.  While her focus was primarily on the social sciences, she also took an interest in photography, environmental studies and international relations.

Jennifer first came to D.C. in her senior year of college to intern at the Center for American Progress.  She worked specifically with their student outreach division, Campus Progress, and their Speaker’s Bureau doing event planning and outreach.  Having enjoyed her D.C. experience in the Spring of ‘06, Jennifer decided to return after graduation to live and pursue work in the non-profit sector.

Jennifer currently lives in the Capitol Hill region of D.C. and is enjoying the opportunity to further explore the city and its vast number of opportunities.
