Q: How do I know if the curriculum for this seminar relevant to my industry?
A: Our seminars are designed to teach executives about the public policy process in a way that is relevant to anyone working for a company or organization that comes into contact with the Federal Government (in other words, everyone). Although we do not focus our sessions on any one industry, our speakers do pay close attention to the backgrounds of the participants so they can tailor their remarks to those enrolled. Also, because of the small size of our seminars, there will be ample opportunity for participants to engage in a dialogue with our speakers in areas of interest.
Q: Will I have time to explore Washington, D.C. on my own during the seminar?
A: Our seminars are scheduled tightly. We believe that your time is very important, and we want to maximize the opportunities available to you while you in Washington. Generally, we will be in session from 8am-6pm each day, and until 10pm on two of the three nights. You will have one unscheduled evening to explore the city. If you are interested in visiting Washington's monuments, memorials or museums, we suggest arriving early or staying an extra day.
Q: To get reimbursed, my company requires proof of attendance. What can you provide?
A: The Washington Campus awards each participant who successfully completes the program a certificate of completion signed by an officer of our organization. If you require any additional paperwork, the Washington Campus staff would be happy to assist.
