Kathleen M. Weldon
Kathleen M. Weldon is currently a Professional Staff Member with the House Ways & Means Health Subcommittee. Previously, she was with the staff of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, where she worked exclusively on H.R. 1, “The Medicare Prescription Drug and Modernization Act of 2003.” During the 107th Congress, she served as the Senior Health Policy Analyst for the Senate Budget Committee. Prior to moving to Washington, she was the Assistant Deputy Mayor for Policy and Budget for Mayor Richard Riordan in Los Angeles. Ms. Weldon began her career as a management consultant with Andersen Consulting, focusing primarily on clients in the health care industry. She received her B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University in 1993 and her master’s degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1998.
