A recent addition to the team, Elizabeth provides programmatic and administrative support for The Washington Campus team. This includes supporting the Program Coordinators and other staff to plan and execute a variety of educational programs, including assisting with preparation of program materials and venues and by providing assistance to program participants.
Previously, Elizabeth’s vocation for social justice-oriented work brought her to the Lutheran Volunteer Corps, where she completed a service year as a Research Associate at Voices for Children in Nebraska. There, she discovered her passion for the public policy-advocacy field, by contributing social media management, operations support, and supportive research and writing for Voices for Children’s initiatives. Elizabeth then relocated to Washington, D.C., where she stepped into the role of Operations Coordinator at the Lutheran Volunteer Corps headquarters. Wearing multiple hats, she provided office management support in addition to managing gift data entry and conducting student outreach.
Elizabeth originally hails from the beautiful state of Montana, and graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts. She enjoys getting lost in local bookstores, a strong cup of coffee, and clever wordplay.
