Liz Scranton is Vice President for EMBA and Health Care Programs of The Washington Campus. Her responsibilities include serving all EMBA clients, present and future, by creating comprehensive educational programs to demonstrate how Washington really works.
Before joining The Washington Campus, Liz served as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Post-Secondary Education. As Special Assistant, Liz was responsible for producing all talking points, background information, and research for meetings, speaking events and press inquiries for the Assistant Secretary.
Liz also has extensive experience in the legislative branch working for a Senate Subcommittee. During her time in the Senate, Liz served as the nonpartisan liaison between the Majority and Minority Subcommittees and the full Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. She was also responsible for the coordination of numerous hearings, the budget, tracking legislation and assisted with numerous issues under the Subcommittee's jurisdiction.
Liz graduated from Gettysburg College with a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology. She then went on to receive her M.A. in Government from Johns Hopkins University. Liz lives in Northern Virginia with her husband Donald.
