Susanna Hinds is Vice President for Programs and Development at The Washington Campus where she organizes and leads executive MBA, MBA and specialty graduate and professional courses. Having spent the past fifteen years of her career at the intersection of business, public affairs and higher education, she is deeply committed to the mission of providing public policy education for current and future business leaders.
Prior to joining The Washington Campus in 2020, Ms. Hinds spent four years as Vice President, Communications at the Association of American Publishers (AAP) the largest trade association representing book, journal and education publishers in the United States. Previously, she led corporate communications worldwide for International Data Group (IDG), a technology media and research company, where she also designed and taught executive training programs on reputation management.
Her public relations experience includes building and leading PR agency account teams with expertise in technology and financial communications. She began her career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where she was Director of Campus Activities and later returned as a communications consultant in the Office of the President.
Ms. Hinds has a B.A. in Sociology from Smith College and an M.A. in Business Communication from Emerson College. She also completed M.A./PhD. coursework in Communications and Sociology at The University of Massachusetts (Amherst).
