Specialty Programs

Executive Education and Custom Programs

The Washington Campus offers intensive, certificate, executive education seminars
for both U.S. and international audiences. Campus executive programs typically are customized for specific types of groups and institutions, such as business or
non-profit executives or government officials, and likewise can be customized
to focus on specific topics, such as energy and the environment, health care, trade,
financial services, or information technology. Customized programs range from one
day to one week or more. Our executive programs also include abundant opportunities
to integrate informal learning and enjoyment in the rich and diverse global destination
of Washington, D.C.

Health Care Policy

Health care is the largest sector of the U.S. economy, and also the sector with
perhaps the deepest and most complex involvement of government throughout.
Current and future health care executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals
increasingly need to understand how government and public policy processes work,
what are the key policy issues and trends, and how they can more effectively
navigate this complicated environment. The Washington Campus customized and
open-enrollment health care policy courses enable participants to interact first-hand
with health care policy makers, regulators, and other experts who share their
uniquely valuable insights with those interested and involved in health care.

Undergraduate Business and Public Policy

The Washington Campus customized undergraduate courses are designed in
concert with sponsoring institutions and are targeted at upper-level undergraduates,
often honors-level students. Our undergraduate courses typically are five-day,
three-credit courses, but can be customized to the needs of each institution.
Students have the rare opportunity to directly interact with current and former
members of Congress and staff, current and former Executive Branch officials
and regulators, as well as influential experts from business, associations,
think tanks, media, and NGOs.
